I’m a Stop (Not a Destination) – full of beer version

I wrote this a little while ago – it’s one of the few songs I can say was finished (all but a spit and polish anyway) in less than an hour in the back of my car, parked on the side of a back road.

It’s and old-fashioned sort of thing with no chorus to speak of but room for a whole band’s worth of improvisation if it’s layed out a bit.

For those interested in detail, there’s two bottles of Hacker-Pschorr Munich Gold and two Matilda Bay Fat Yak in the desk behind me – four good reasons to favour tape (with actual buttons marked “Play” and “Record”).
